Aylin Livaneli Began a Career as a Successful Musician

Aylin Livaneli went to high school in Paris, France, then attended college in New York and in London, before launching a career in Turkey. She has experienced many cultures and excelled in each of her surroundings. Aylin graduated from New York University with a degree in English Literature. She then attended the London School of Economics, receiving a degree in Politics and International Relations.

After she was done globe-trotting in her educational pursuits, Aylin Livaneli began a career as a successful musician. She became a teenage pop icon in Turkey and recorded five albums. During the time she was becoming a star, she was also working at her family’s media company, Interfilm. Here she worked as an intern, a production assistant, and a production coordinator. She was even the co-host and co-producer of a popular television show called Coke’n’Roll, which was sponsored by Coca Cola of course.

Aylin Livaneli quit her music career eventually and began working as a writer and reviewer in the entertainment industry. She wrote for popular newspaper dailies like Milliyet, Hurriyet, and Vatan, as well as a number of prominent magazines. She also formed a music label, Ida Music Ltd, and helped to form another company along with the President of Imaj Productions, called Film Factory Entertainment Corporation. Lastly, she resurrected her family’s business, calling it Interfilm Media & Entertainment.
